Anyone else jump rope here?
Currently been doing it a few weeks now and it's crazy fun.
Got shin splints after the first week, though, but I'm slowly recuperating from it.
Anyone else learning tricks and shit?

Nah I'm heterosexual

I do about 5 minutes at the end of my weight sessions and it finished me off completely.
I have to vary the steps - incorporating most of the first 10 in that video - otherwise I lose focus and fuck up but wouldn't say they're tricks. Actual tricks might be useful if fishing for mires, but actually learning them would just be too embarrassing.

Crosses and double-unders - the simplest of them all, get so much mirrin', it's ridiculous.
For some reason alternating my leg, or boxer step... can't do it. can't.

jumped rope today, fun as fuck. I am too stiff though when I do it and my shoulders tire out really fast. feelsbadman

I do jump rope HIIT 3x a week
10 sets of 1 minute with 30 seconds of rest between
then another set of 10 after like a 5-10 minute rest
I try to get 120 jumps a minute, usually a bit more.
Not bothering with tricks, I'm doing it for cardio. You don't see runners doing tricks, you see them running.

Do I need roads for that?

Mike Tyson is the sickest. When he's doing the regular bounce, he literally only bounces like 1 inch off of the floor AND does it at an insane speed without fucking up. Crazy.

You'll be cutting grass otherwise...

2 birds with one stone. why not

ffs this cameraman
I wish I would have done it from The beginning instead of running. Way more variation and I can do it in aa confined space.
