nah, cold showers make me really itchy for awhile after, not worth it senpai. I have cut back on hot showers though since I have dry, pasty skin, and that seems to have helped my skin a bit
>tfw meaty tricep masterrace, but they're covered in keratosis pilaris :^(
pic related is basically the backs of my arms, although I'm a bit redder and more noticeable. been using coconut oil which helps, as does sunlight in the summer, but it still bums me out :/

shame we have science now instead of just anecdotes to dispel stuff like this ; (
I'm pretty much forced to take cold showers otherwise my dry skin becomes really visible

>science disproves this
>no evidence
Oh I see now
Cold shower master race
But be careful with great power comes great responsibility.
I fucking hate it, but it's helped me become accustomed to discomfort. I also save a lot more time on showers, since I used to stand under the hot water for minutes on end, as opposed to getting wet, soaping myself up and then rinsing in the most efficient manner possible.

You do realize that anecdotal evidence is more valuable to the person taking the showers right?
Even if science 'disproves' it, if you experience benefits anecdotally it instantly makes all science mute in for yourself.
And this is not something that you can get wrong like an exercise. There is no 'wrong form' in taking a cold shower.

>cold showers make me really itchy for awhile
Your blood vessels are constricted, cold showers open them up and make blood flow easier at the cost of discomfort. The same happens to me during really hot days, rest days where I don't stretch, or whenever I sit for too long.
The more dynamic you stretch and keep your blood flowing, the less uncomfortable the itching will be.
