Dictionaries sometimes translate it as curd cheese, cottage cheese, farmer cheese or junket.
I put it on wholegrain crackers. Tastes pretty good
I mix mine with equal portions of pic related.

Anyway, I've posted this 100s of times, but Lidl does a range of cottage cheeses that are GOAT. They're called Milbona and are 200g (used to be Goldessa).
Even plain they're amazing.
