Before. If you weigh it after it depends how long you cooked it for and how much water it absorbed so cooked weight can vary but the dry weight for the same amount would always the same.

For my daily of though, we have this machine at work for the next few weeks as a part of a wellbeing initiative. Apparently I'm 36% body fat. It weighs you etc and then you put your thumbs on these metal plates, it's inaccurate right? Tell me it is pls.

i had a similar problem in that the complete indecision prompted me to order delivery which fucked me up. what helped was figure out certain food thats absolutely without a doubt were good for me. these were grilled chicken, greek yogurt (this was a godsend truly), bananas, apples. no bread and very little rice. only drank black coffee and tea and milk occasionally. whenever, i had late night cravings, i simply stuffed myself with water (or coffee if it was the morning) and waited it out. i didn't know how to cook, so i stuck to simple but good food. i found out i was generally internally satisfied eating these things, so it stuck.

once these worked, i slowly moved into stricker CICO focus. then i also added protein powder to my diet which helped a lot. i also deleted delivery apps and credit card info on my devices.

remember man, you're gonna wanna stick to something. it's hard but you gotta try different things, and tweak when the process isn't working. eventually you'll find something that gives you satisfactory results while you feel happy enough enduring it all.

Need some advice.
My starting weight is 151kg, height is 186cm.
According to the above calculator my BMR is about 2400, multiplied with 1.16 that's 2800 TDEE. Is it expected to have such high value for morbidly obese people?

I plan to follow a 2000kcal diet with 25% carb/35% fat/40% protein, is it right for continued weight loss? I'm using a stationary bike for 10-15km a day.

1. Yes, youre TDEE is probably pretty accurate. Get a result from tdeecalculator.net as well as a double-check

2. 2k calories will probably work, but see how you're doing and if you can drop that to like 1750 soon-ish. Your macro split doesn't look too bad, but since you mega fatty probably at risk for the beetus, try to keep the carbs lower if possible.

3. Stationary bike is OK, but make sure to change it up with a long walk every few days as well.

Fell for the waterfasting meme

Trying to get my body into ketosis to prepare and got supplements to cover my daily needs of minerals, vitamins and electrolytes. Now the question is should I go cold turkey and go full water fasting or drink my daily needs of protein in protein shakes? Will be lifting at the gym 3-4 times a week so I assume its the latter?

1. Stationary bike is OK, but just OK. It's literally the easiest thing you can do, but if it's all you've got, I won't continue to shit on it because it's better for you to do that than nothing.

2. Walking is not inherently better, but you will use muscles differently when walking and carrying around your belly, which will get you sweating. It also doesn't allow your body to get used to just being on the bike every day. Sometimes you just have to change things up a bit. This has the added benefit of keeping you from getting bored with the bike and finding a reason not to do it once you're bored.

-2 eggs

-1 tsp oregano

Mix all of that together in a bowl for consistently then scoop into a skillet. Greased with olive oil or whatever floats your boat.

Brown it on one side, pushing down to make sure it sticks together, then the other and drop on whatever cheese you want.

Then toss one of the patties on the other and press down 'til you hit your level of meltiness.

Pretty fucken great. And keto as all hell for you lads.

You are dumb.

TDEE = total daily energy expenditure. This means that your body, given age, weight, height and activity level, will burn 1900 calories per day.

This means that if you eat less than 1900 calories per day, you will lose weight.

If you eat more than 1900 calories per day, you will gain weight.

Start out by eating at a 300-500 deficit. You will start to lose weight. Then add cardio. Then reduce calories some more, then add more cardio. Don't start off with a 1k calorie deficit. Most people can't sustain that.

Also, never exercise so you can eat more. Ideally, eat at your TDEE deficit (whatever you decide on) and look at working out as bonus points.

I enjoy binge eating and rather than fighting that fact I've decided to try and control or direct it instead.
I keep a lot of vegetables on hand.
Binging on 6 lb's of green beans will make you bloated for days but is only around 800 calories.

I also count calories by week instead of daily as this allows me to treat slip-ups as heavy days rather than a failure in dieting.
Because I count by the week if I really feel like binging hard I can eat light and plan for a binge with stockpiled calories.

Just eat 1500 calories per day every single day and never cheat.

My secret is something I call Hot-Brocâ„¢. As we all know broccoli can be eaten in abundance as it only provides approximately 30 calories per cup. Knowing this you can simply combine 4 cups or more of broccoli with hot sauce(0 calories) for a massive portion of food at a low caloric cost. Prepare this dish along with your high protein main dish for supper and you'll feel like a fatass but will, in reality, be making a healthy meal.

Focus on high protein, low calorie, large portion dishes. Any exercise you do will help maintain or build muscle so long as you get enough protein.

Whey shakes and/or protein bars are acceptable if you can stand eating/drinking them super often

Cottage chesse is an easy meal if you like the taste, a 500g container of 2% is only like 440 calories depending on the brand. I like to dip low calorie cracker-chips in mine(80 cals per 17). That way it feels like i'm eating chips and dip. Meal usually comes out to like 550 calories, just have to pile on the cottage cheese to avoid eating too many of the chips.

Also avoid going out to eat for lunch with colleagues at all costs. And make sure to count EVERYTHING.
