Is foam rolling/massage/stretching actually effective?
What does it do and how does it work?
Will it unfuck my painful shoulders, knees and lower back?
Will stretching make me hypermobile and weak?
Will foam rolling make me weaker?

I only use a foam roller and a tennis ball, but it speeds up recovery a bit and you get a nice feel after the "pain" Foam roller has helped me with migrane issuse i´ve had since the age of 21 to 30.

i don't care what people here say but foam rolling helped me a lot with my mobility, especially glute roll with small ball. that shit was money
It feels fucking great. Especially when you have doms.
>hurr durr doms hurr durr muscle tightness
who the fuck considers those to be problems unless you're fucking 48?
I'm talking about actual joint problems, pain in the knee itself, would that kind of stuff actually do something good about it?
>>41360207
Actual joint problems shouldn't be an issue unless you're 48 retard.
>>41360221
fantastic retort dickface
>>41360228
People are telling you what they use it for and you're being a fucktard. No it won't fix your joints you stupid cunt.
it's great for the back but idk how you'd use it on shoulders comfortably
>>41360246
what will it fix then, your repressed homosexual urges?
faggot
Anyone who does not stretch has never played sports in their lives. Baffles me how people need to be convinced to try stretching. Can your sit with your legs straight in front of you and touch your toes? Why not?
You can improve your flexibility too, you know.

Exactly what people are talking about in this thread.
>>41360263
/fit/ is full of autists who never thought about physical exercise until their 20s
>>41360263
>yes goy, desensitize that golgi tendon organ, let those soft tissues stretch past their intended length, nothing bad can come out of this
>>41360263
I agree with you but literally anyone who isn't morbidly obese can take a muscle relaxant and touch their toes.
>>41360184
>i don't care what people here say
Good, people here are uninformed and will say whatever is contrarian.
Foam rolling, stretching, massaging, etc is really good for you. Everything from mobility, flexibility, stability, and recovery will improve if you do it regularly.

>take a muscle relaxant and touch their toes.
If you have to do this you should not consider yourself flexible or even healthy
