I've got weird proportions cuz I was a fat boy through middle and high school. 290 to 225 and I think that the calves stay like that till I'm really old or dead. I'm still losing til 160ish. Well, the pain came mainly from one thing. My tibia and femur were in contact during movement, completely bypassing my meniscus. There was so much damage done that my surgeon had to mince and take away parts of my meniscus.
