>work out 5 times a week
>1400 calories a day, healthy food, cooking from scratch and measuring everything
>do this for three months
>lose several inches, visually slimmer, muscles more developed but no weight lost
>decide to try keto, still continue to workout, incredibly strict keeping to <50g carbs a day
>no bloating, feel great energy wise
>drop 6lbs in a week
>first weight dropped in three months despite having a good diet and exercise
Is this just the initial affects of keto or could this be something that works for me in particular?
It did also cross my mind that my lack of weight loss could have been due to noob gains and after doing it for three months, this has now slowed down resulting in actual weight loss.
I look better either way, just wondered if macro nutrients can really affect people to the point where they just have a sensitivity to carbs.

woman or manlet?

1400 caloriedoos a day plus workouts is fucking insane - and probably not in a good away.
Are you a man or woman and what is your age, height, and weight?

Female, 5ft7. It's absolutely acceptable for my height and weight.
My workout is 40mins of cardio and 30 lifting five days a week. I try and add additional walking and sports in where I can.

that 6 pounds is water loss due to your glycogen stores being exhausted and not replenished.

I've been drinking a fuck tonne of water, taking magnesium and trying my best to tackle it in the most manageable way (especially as I workout like I do).
If I continue to do this, is it likely that I will continue to lose weight? Or is it just a matter of water weight which will then stop once the initial week is over?

Damn, you are very skinny
Even a 5'10 guy would be skinny with that weight
Yea it's water. Not saying keto is bad but I can't personally handle it, for some reason I get insane cravings that I just can't control about 3 days in, but I do it for a day or two after a DNP cycle and drop 10lbs of water weight overnight
I think you should try eating more for a few weeks and then getting it down slowly.

I had the complete opposite - I'm actually struggling to eat as much as I would with unlimited carbs. The only issue I had in the beginning was peeing all the time and a slight headache, but I seem to have gotten over that by drinking more and taking magnesium.
