Is there anything specific I can do to develop vein definition on the arms?

I've been lifting for about four months. I started noticing them veins coming out, but kinda stagnated on only a few, and not so vivid ones. I'm focusing on cardios a lot too since I'm the typical skinny-but-not-really type dude.

Not sure if I should focus on losing the body fat through cardio or add new arm exercises, and focus on them.

Please help a starter, would you

Yep. It's just genetics. I have lower bf on my forearms than my bro, but he has lower bf on his stomach and lower back. It's a trade off.

Unless you're totally fat, it's all genetics.

It does seem to have a random element to it though. There are some days where you can't see a single vein in my arm, and others where every little part of the network is sticking out. Does hydration or diet have something to do with this?

same, not even that lean but I have veins popping up on my biceps, calves, forearms.

Your veins are also used for regulating temperature, if you're freezing, they retreat back under the skin, and if you're too warm they'll stick out.

Yea, same happens here. Kinda curious about it too, since it varies so much each day. There must be something that influences it.

But anyways. Saddening to know it's something I can't really fix since I find them pretty aesthetic. Genetics sucks, my dudes.
I guess that's why the bet for a brighter human future envolves messing with them.

sodium intake and subcutaneous water retention.

Cutting to a lower body fat will definitely increase vascularity. I bulked for pretty much 2 years and at most I would have a bicep vein on one arm and a bit of forearm vascularity on both. I was out of the gym for an injury for a couple of months and in that time I lost both muscle and fat. When I got back to working out and dieting again, I started off cutting and noticed a huge difference in my vascularity. I now have a visible bicep vein on my other arm that I'd never seen before and both my forearms pop like crazy when they're pumped. I also noticed that under certain lighting I get webbing on my bicep and pec near my shoulders. I don't think my bodyfat is sub 12% yet so there's still room for improvement.
