I'm getting desperate to lose weight. My dietitian would never say it's OK, but what I start skipping lunch every day and go to the gym starving?

Is there any really good reason other than that my metabolism will slow down?

Ok, so start eating less a breakfast and simultaneously more at dinner. It's all hormones and patterns. Your body will expect food at those times, so hormones will trigger hunger responses at those times.
