OP, it sounds like you want to get fit but you're just afraid. You need to get out of your comfort zone and start somewhere. If you're too afraid to go the the gym (which is silly because no one there cares) then do a bodyweight routine. If you need to lose weight then do cardio and make sure to SET REASONABLE GOALS THAT YOU CAN MEET. Then start lifting or doing bodyweight. Oh, and read the fucking sticky; diet is everything.

Just go to the gym and do Starting Strength for 6 months, nobody gives a fuck unless you do something really stupid.

Find a gym and pay membership to go there. Even if it has to be a planet fitness ro something equally as terrible, as long as it lets you do more than bodyweight exercises.

We're not being mean go read the sticky. There are dump truck loads of information you'll be digging through with even more conflicting information. Even this threads will end up with conflicting advice on how you should go about getting /fit/.
