The majority of white people don't actually know any black people personally. They just go by what they see on tv, hear on t he radio, and other forms of media. The way we're portrayed in media is pretty fucked. There are basically two types of black people: honest, hard working black people, and ignorant niggas. Well, 3 years ago a couple of people ended up moving and renting their houses out to Section 8 families. I'm currently looking to move ASAP, and it sucks because I know they're making my property value drop every day.

I knew quite a few blacks back in high school and earlier. With only a rare few exceptions they were much worse behaved than people of any other race be it white, asian, middle eastern, or hispanic. Since moving onto college and beyond I haven't come into contact with many black folks. Maybe they get better with age, but I've certainly met black people, and have plenty of reason to dislike the young ones.

I'm a white guy who grew up in a predominantly black setting. My first major experience with racism was at a cookout, black kid (don't even know who) said I called him a nigger when I was 9 or 10. In that setting, there were plenty of black people (Caribbean, they didn't go for that hyphenated African deal) that acted "white", as in the hard-working people. Then I lived in a suburb with minority blacks and they all hung around together, in the cafeteria their tables were referred to as "Cafrica" - pretty sure the Chads and Stacys came up with this, and most acted "hood" except the couple that were just quiet and wanted to get their shit done, like they were black autists that played basketball.

I'm weary of black people 'cause I grew up around them, and most of it was getting picked on for being white 'cause "fucking whitey."
