I know why though. My legs are unproportionally long compared to my torso, squats have always been a problem.
Think of it that way, at least you don't have chicken legs :)

We have almost the same stats, OP. I'll 5'11, 168lbs up from about 150 last summer, 280 deads, 255 squat, 150 bench, 110 OHP. I've been progressing way slower because I switched to 531 to not spend so much time in the gym. Starting every session squatting 3x5 2pl8 plus was fucking exhausting

When i was around 4 or 5 one of my legs was shorter than the other(stemming from the hip) and i had to wear casts on both of my legs for a few months.
Now the legs are even, however if i apply too much force on my left hip, i feel a slight discomfort, but it's nothing painful or crippling
It happens when i run too much, when i do dumbbell rows, sometimes when i bench and when i squat, and at random times when i walk.
