How good are electric muscle stimulators when it comes to building muscle, specifically on an untrained person? If I wore it for 6 hours a day for 2 months, how much mass could I gain?

If you get a decent one yeah. They have to operate on the right frequency and the right voltage for decent muscle contraction. The best cheap ones afaik are made by compex, you'll note they're quite expensive.
