Remind me again why this shit is bad for me? I'm an ex-fatty with a huge fucking appetite. Carbonated drinks fill me up artificially so I eat less than I normally would, and the sweetness/flavourings mean I don't crave any other shit.
How is this bad in any way shape or form? Calories in calories out, right? The artificial bullshit is no worse than the shit in protein powders.

>The artificial bullshit is no worse than the shit in protein powders
on this point you are correct
artificial sweeteners are really hard to read about because there are studies that go both ways. Some say it's harmless, some say it's liquid satan.

It's not. People think the artificial sweeteners will give you cancer, but those people are literally retarded and shouldn't be giving advice.
It's just fine, your body basically treats it like carbonated water with caffeine
Get diet caffeine free if you want true health in a can

If your question is will i gain weight from zero calorie drinks then no you wont.
it's not sips

> Calories in calories out, right?
A bit more complicated than that. Just drink regular soda water if you need the buzz.
Our bodies aren't flat thermodynamic systems. Different parts and subparts deal with varying intakes. It's like saying a computer is merely an entity which intakes energy and outputs energy. Which is technically true. But looking inside you have to figure out which part does what function and their failure states...

Sweet thank you anon that's all I wanted to hear

All this study tells me is that doctors aren't part of the same hivemind and some have personal agendas that are coming into play
>Don't drink diet coke the artifical stuff causes x y and z
>Drink protein shakes! They're good for you just ignore the artifical stuff that causes x y and z
>Chew sugar-free gum! It's good for you just ignore the artificial stuff that causes x y and z
Fuck it. I'm going to buy some

>i just wanted to read an opinion that reaffirms my own beliefa

Yep I'm not very self-assure because my Mom was always enforcing decisions on me based on the decisions enforced on her by her own parents/the media.
Yet somehow I STILL ended up fat. Do all people go through a cycle of being unwillingly neglected by their parents based on pure, unblamable ignorance, realise all of this, and then raise their own kids while falling for all these mistakes?

just drink sparkling water dude
you can even make your own with one of these
