Is quorn any good?
I'm currently stuck in a vegetarian diet, long story, but looking for non-soy protein sources that actually taste decent

Every few months
>Protein powder from Amazon
Corporate job provides me with free food so I just make breakfast and lunch there.

Heh quorn. I didn't realize others ate this odd fungus. It's insane dipped in buffalo sauce.
I buy some things in bulk like the sweet potatoes when the sale is good so I don't have to buy them every week so my list is mostly quick to perish veggies Like celery, cucumbers, squash etc.
I buy chicken once every two weeks (I use 8 chicken thighs a week cooking for two people so I buy two packs of 8 and freeze one to again cut down on how much I have to buy week to week. Same with anything I can freeze like onions (I pre chop them and store em in the freezer and keep one around on weeks I need raw onion.) And peppers.
I try to shop in a way that I can spend the least amount of time out shopping because I have to go to two different stores (one store has best produce prices but lacks certain produce and their avocados are shitty, one charges fucking $7 a pound for chicken while the other is $2 and one has better dairy free products and I'm lactose intolerant).
Doing it this way means I can go to all three every other week and only one the rest of the time.
