As a human being, you are not designed to out-strong your enemies. No matter how much we lift, we wouldn't stand a chance almost every similarly sized creature in the animal kingdom that has fangs, claws, or natural superior strength. We have two things on our side: intelligence and cardiovascular endurance. Ages ago, a human could hunt deer literally by chasing it and tiring it out. Thank god we have the luxury to just buy our means of survival these days.
