Guys
I'm doing about 1200-1400 cals a day (I'm a 6'1 dude) and right now I've hit a wall where I've only lost 1.4 lbs this past week. I am calorie counting everything (I drink only water and am super stringent about how I count)
What gives? I should be losing around 4 pounds per week
1.4 lbs is still okay. Do you exercise? What is your current and goal weight? bf% estimate?

Exercise 7 days a week. 30 mins a day. All cardio though.
Current weight is 212 lbs (I started a few weeks ago at 225). The goal is 160-170lbs. Bf% estimate I found one online says 25% but don't know how to really get an estimate

Diminishing returns, lad. You're getting closer and closer to your TDEE so you'll be losing less and less. When you were 270 lbs, 1500 cals was a few thousand under your TDEE, now it's just under 1000.

Do you think it's too thin? I used to be 145lbs at 6'1 and people said I was too thin then. I figured a few more lbs would help
Should I be more 170?

Post a picture, it's hard to tell based on your height and weight alone.

dnp or eca

mix it up, add some resistance. You plateau pretty soon just on cardio, add some sprints/HIIT, throw a ball around every now and then, do some pushups. It should jumpstart your weight loss again.

I think I probably would be too skinny I'm looking at some old pictures now (too afraid to post them)
But like somewhere around 170 might be alright I think?

I used to be 145 at 6' and didn't lift, I was quite the thin skeleton. I'd say shoot for closer to 170 like you said and mix some lifting with your cardio

could be a couple of things
>miscounted calories
>didn't work hard enough doing cardio/working out
>poop/urine weighing you down
>water retention from eating salty foods
you'll know when you weigh yourself next week and you lose an extra pound that week
or what this anon said

don't be fixated on how much weight you lose, weight can vary due to a lot of factors (and it WILL plateau after a while of cutting). if you have a tape measure, your waist circumference is a lot more reliable.

You can lose up to 1% body weight per week, more than that is unhealthy. Readjust your daily calorie goal from time to time to keep up that pace.

given your caloric restriction, you are fatigued and every little detail in your behavior is making you spend less energy. you walk less, you don't train, you spend more time sitting or laying down, so your tdee has plummeted.

bitch nigger you need some fucking muscle mass
being lean is good but you're just a stick, you are not even fit, just anorexic.
Congrats on not being fat but you need both sides of the equation.
I am honestly worried that you are this fucking skinny and still obsessed about going for like a -2000 deficit, I think you might legit have an eating disorder
