Vegeta's arc doesn't end with him crying about Goku or anyone else being better than him. He accepts it and moves the fuck on, focusing on what he can do to be the best version of himself instead of the best period.

Even the current Vegeta in Super refused to fight in a universal tournament because his wife needed him. He found his values after the Majin-Vegeta shit, and sticks to them above all else.
