How can I fashion weightlifting straps at home? I've got

they come as cheap as 5€ here man just buy them.

if you really want to make them at home i know Clarence Kennedy did it in one of his videos. problem is i dont remember if it was a seperate vid or spliced into some other vid of his.

Mixed grip requires zero shekels. Hook grip may reguire chalk but a 50g cube of chalk will last years and costs only a few bucks. Straps are the strongest option but you will spend more time on set up. Mixed grip take no more time than double overhand to set up. Hook grip may take a little fiddling each time but not as much as straps.

what kind of grip are you using?

Switch to alternated grip for your diddlys and you wont have this problem.
