now this is someone who has trained for a long time and put in the work. he showcases like nothing else how important genetics are. He is neither strong nor does he look good. As a matter of fact, he looks like shit.

Personally a fan of Thrall, simple effective advice for when you need it most, as a beginner. Anyone who rages hurr durr it's nothing new is fucking retarded, of course it isn't new, it is however explained in a simple, effective manner so that's why he is successful on youtube. I'm a fan and sub to him.

He's good about keeping it simple and to the point, while making sure the video isn't completely boring imo. I'd never say it's as good as simply asking a knowledgable person to check your form, but his video on deadlift form helped me not look like a scared cat when I first started lifting.

Yeah actual in person feedback is always going to be better, be it a qualified coach or just a knowledgeable bro, but failing that I think simple advice that isn't too cluttered with editing, bullshit or too long is an excellent starting point for a lot of people. Plus it's free, which is fucking amazing considering the cost per hour you'd have to pay someone for similar advice early on
