What's your opinion /fit/ on farmer's walk? Is it a good way to strengthen your grip for deadlifts? I was also told that farmer's walk is perfect isometric exercise for your abs?

Farmers walks are amazing. Toss them in after some heavy pulls for the added forearm and trap gains.

Rack pulls above the knees are better.

I find it good if I want my spine to collapse and live the rest of my life out as a vegetable.

I do them stationary, just grab the biggest dumbbells there are after you finish deadlifting

I really like farmer's walks, but i'm the only retard at my gym doing them
However, when my grip fails the DBs tend to sway forward like in pic related and they hurt my wrist a bit .Any solutions?

Try using kettle bells or sandbags.

Farmers walks are awesome. Start with 50% of your body weight in each hand and work from there. They engage your core, legs, shoulders and are the best for building strong forearms. Plus, they are great for building functional strength (i.e. picking things up).
