Obviously its not a great start, but Im sure you can do it anon. If you have trouble with motivation maybe just weigh yourself now and then again in 2 or so weeks so you can see a hopefully big jump.

Also if you have trouble with eating a ton of food, maybe try not having as much in the house. Instead of buying a big bag just buy enough for one meal each day and combine buying it with a walk if thats feasible.

2014 - Decide to get fit. Start running as often as possible. Also tried ECA stack and it worked great.

2015 - Good shape now. Still loose skin but i look like i lift with clothes. I discover online dating and start dating girls for the first time in ages. I also land an easy job with good pay.

2016 - Get even better job, starting to gain weight from bad eating at work. Too tired to go to the gym after working 10 hour days at office

2017 cruising steadily back up to where i was in 2014, haven't been to the gym in months.

Saturday: 30 min jogging, 1-2 hours of combat training with Bo staffs and cqc sparring.
Sunday: refer to Wednesday and friday.

Is this too much?
I also wanted to do Intermittent fasting from Sunday evening till Wednesday morning and then again from Wednesday evening till Friday morning and then again from Friday evening till Sunday morning.

This is bad advice. My ultimate goal is to get healthy habits, meaning I can eat healthy without using any tools like my phone to track calories.

I find it very inaccurate unless you're cooking everything yourself and measure absolutely every portion of absolutely everything you eat.

For example, I ate at my parent's and my mom had make a delicious pumpkin stew. How the fuck do I know exactly how many pieces of pumpkin did I eat? I'm not scooping that out of my plate to weight it.

Also, every food has dozens of variants per brand or whatever, and if I'm not eating the exact variant it can be as high as 50% difference. (eg. bread. meat etc.)

What I think it would work best would be taking every fucking piece of food, calculating the exact portion and using the nutrtional info of each AND EVERY prodcut you consume. Which is a massive pain the arse.

I'm trying to make a clean cut after my bulk and I want it to be very, very precise, so I'm at a small deficit which will make me lose fat while also losing a minimal amount of muscle. I could just accept the inaccuracies and cutting hard knowing that I'm below maintain, but that's not good enough to conserve my gains.

Just did my weigh in this morning

213.8lbs, was 228 at the end of February though I had already been eating better about 10 days prior to that first weigh in

Routine is 1500-1600 cals per day, intermittent fasting (8hr daily eating window), about 1h30m walking every weekday (to and from work), light squats (50 with 30lbs kettlebell) and a bit of stationary bike HIIT on most evenings. Though I only started the squats and HIIT this week.

For example dump diet. Eat whatever the fuck you want. But go and start SS. And don't do it to see visual results, do it for the strength gains. It is far easier to accomplish and actually gives a great sense of accomplishment as you see yourself become stronger. After you feel confident, add some other aspect, for example eat more protons. Slowly but surely, this is the easier way to the gains.

It's only 8 am so I'm not thinking about dinner anon. Probably chicken and veggies though (just baked on a pan, easiest fucking dinner ever to make).

I just ate some mini omlettes with peppers and spinach and an oat muffin (it's literally oats, yogurt and egg baked with blueberries for sweetness. Oats for people who hate oatmeal) for breakfast. It's a cardio day so just waking up so I can hit the gym.

I'm going to start Sean10mm's stripped 5x5 on Monday. Picking up the last of the equipment for my home gym today. I'll be able to do all the exercises in that routine and then some. I basically just want to be less of a fat dyel before I start going to a real gym.

Anyway, my question is, on my off days, T, Th, and Sa, can I do some bodyweight exercises in addition to cardio? e.g. pushups, crunches, burpees, bodyweight squats, lunges? my goal would be to do 10 of each as a single interval, then increase intervals as I'm able. Is this bad to do on "rest" days?

I am an 18 y/o male. 5'4" 131lbs. Been losing weight for a long time, lifting in the gym, and following my macros. I do Stronglifts 5x5 with accessory work. I feel that my progress may be atypical, maybe I'm doing something wrong? I still have way too much body fat despite eating 1600 cals a day. What should I change?
If possible I'd like to keep going to the gym 3-4 times a week because of school/work.

We had some friends over last weekend for a barbecue. The idea of a cheat meal is something best saved for an athlete. Someone who's going to have a more intense work out routine and diet than you would, as just some guy trying to get fit and healthy for whatever reason.

Unless you're actively lifting heavy weights twice a day, and jogging 10 or more miles everyday, then you're probably just gonna set yourself off course with what you're trying to do.

You can do what that other anon suggested, you can calculate it into your overall work out and diet plan, but chances are you're gonna exhaust yourself and involve some very complicated shit into your lifestyle.

That's not what this is about, keep it simple and easy.

And don't be strict with your diet, 500 calories is really too much for most people. I don't care if you wanna get this over with fast, or you wanna look good for some event that's coming up soon. You'll just hurt yourself doing this and give up when things get hard.

Just eat at your BMR, cardio every day, and if you can lift weights 3 to 5 times a week then do that and you'll make it faster (and safer) than subtracting that much off your daily calorie intake.

I made a post here last week. I weighed 290 max on March 1st, started on paleo diet for the entire month of March combined with 8-16 Intermittent Fasting and1200-1400 calories a day.

March 1st to April 1st Ionly lost 15 lbs that month and got from 290 to 275.

Exercise consist of 30 minutes of DDP yoga 3x week and swimming laps at the beach around the corner from me (live on an island). Made some scar gains on my left foot from getting slicing my foot on rock as well.

Since last week saturday April 1st. I switched from paleo diet to keto diet and weighed 275 lbs and now today I weigh 270. So that would mean I lost 5 lbs in one week by switching to keto. I'm still doing the same exercises, still on IF and trying to eat 1200-1400 calories, all those fats and animal meat protein make me fuller, plus I'm drinking a gallon of water a day so I barely get over 1000 some days and my IF window closes at 6pm, I start eating at 10 am.

So yeah thats 20 lbs that I lost in total. (I wish I took a pic of the scale on March 1st to show the 290.) I was stepping on the scale over and over to see if this was correct. I still don't see where the 20 pounds came off from. How much of this is water weight?

Try to stick with something longer than a month though, you have like a year and a half left to go at least, no sense changing completely every month.

yes quite possible. doesn't happen with everyone but many. As you are less fat you can sleep in different positions, also less face fat to get in the way. in general If you gain weight around your neck, it squeezes the internal diameter of the throat, making it more likely to collapse during sleep, triggering snoring. quite normal cause

Eating, say, 800 kcals a day would make a world of difference to how you feel, yet it would only slow your progress down to 67% of its current speed, assuming a TDEE of 2000 kcals. Not to mention that by eating that little food, you probably don't ingest enough vitamins and minerals, and you'll end up getting some fucking vitamin deficiency.

I changed by foods for the first time in 3 years a month ago. I enjoy merely getting to eat, it doesn't even have to be delicious junk. Doing IF is great for getting this feeling. Hunger makes eating anything a joy.

There's nothing wrong with being fine with a monotonous diet. The desire for food to be entertaining is the slippery slope to becoming a fatty. There's no reason to miss that impulse when you've successfully shed it.

Hearing it killed my appetite pretty hard. I've cut out all sugars and almost all carbs out of my diet. It's about 10% carbs, 30% fat, and 70% protein. I thought eating 1500 calories a day would be hard, but it's difficult for me to stomach that much knowing how much of a fucking retard I am.
