I had just started making progress again after months of stalling and niggling injuries.
Then last night i thought it would be a good idea to get involved in a friend's fight and broke my knuckle on some guys face.
What can I do to limit how much muscle mass I'm gonna lose while i can't lift? Are there any lifts i feasibly could do? Should I just eat healthy at maintenance and hope for the best? Is there any point continuing to take creatine or getting shitloads of protein?
It's coming up to summer lads, i don't wanna be DYEL
one arm deadlifts
leg press
Broke my knuckle fighting with my roommate, lifted through the pain because there is nothing you can do about that shit anyways.
Now I just have a bigger knuckle to punch with.

A month out of the gym isn't going to make you DYEL, you are DYEL and always will be DYEL

It didn't make it heal badly or take longer? I can barely grip anything right now, maybe tomorrow that'll be different.

Took forever to heal, if I hit my hand against something the right way it hurts like fuark. But I didn't lose my gains.

You are pretty autistic
Hit people with your palm. Hurts about as much but doesn't put fingers in bad positions during impact

Or I'm not a pussy and willing to commit to something, a broken knuckle isn't shit. When a break a real bone I'll care.

Ice the shit every day. Fucked up my shoulder last week while I was drunk and haven't lifted in a week. My shoulder doesn't hurt as much but still does and I cant put weight on it. Iced the first 2 days like crazy and the swelling went down.
If anything do body weight workouts. Squats, lunges, dips, push ups when you can put pressure on your hand and hiking.
