Ik abs are for the most part made in the kitchen, but what exercises should I be doing for them and how often should I do them?
>They are worked when squatting and diddling leedle lee
True, but not true, I feel like mine could be worked more than they are currently

weighted decline situps every other day. Put weight behind your head instead of holding it over your chest. Start with a 10 lb plate and do 3x10. Add a set everyday until you can do 6x10 then doing a 25 lb plate at start back at 3x10. Works like a charm

leg raises

I disagree here. Your method puts too much stress on the neck and spine.
A better way is to get a 5lbs. medicine ball (about the size of a large melon), and hold it fully extended behind yourself when prone on the ground, and keep your arms extended as you sit up with your feet anchored under a workout machine.

You probably have bad form desu.
Squatting 275 for reps with perfect high bar squat form is a FAR better indicator of core strength than any other exercise.
Or better yet, just do front squats for reps.
Otherwise do what everyone else does. Get an ab roller and do all the other generic core shit that's boring af.
Depends on what you want them to do. You can have multiple goals, you just gotta work them deliberately.
If you want to ripple, eat less.
If you want them to be "strong", there are two things they do: 1) Core stability, in which case you should deadlift, good morning, and yoke carry. 2) Flex your spine, in which case you should do various hollow hold exercises (hollow holds, dragon flags are crazy, v-ups), toes to bars, or crunches if you're weak.

Dragon flags are pretty good desu
if you cant do them, pull in your legs or do negatives

I'm doing the p90x ab routine. I feel it's actually pretty good. Haven't felt such soreness in the ab area in a long time. I can't even do the routine fully
