How're you doing? I'm at work, ate my breakfast and second breakfast, I'm still hungry and trying to drink as much water as possible to survive till dinner. Only 3,5 hours more to go.

I theoretically could eat something, since my current calorie intake lets me eat around 2400 and lose weight, but I'm trying to cut it down below 2000 since yesterday.

Already lost around 5 kg, still 50 kg more to go before I'm below 100 kg.

I have a ton of broccoli for that. Though I agree I fucked up, since I had to make some fish tart so shit wouldn't go to waste and now I'm eating this for two days, and since it's very calorie dense, I try to overcompensate with tomatoes and lettuce as a side.

I'm morbidly obese too.

your TDEE is what your body needs to burn to maintain your current weight, without taking into account any exercise. Always pick "sedentary lifestale" to get your basic TDEE. Now drop 500 or even 1000 calories from that - that's your new daily calorie intake to lose weight.

Install and use an app like MyFitnessPal to check your macros and calories, even every teaspoon of sugar you use etc. You have no idea how big your TDEE can get just from being big, your body needs to burn a lot of calories just to make your fat ass stay alive.

My TDEE at 150 kg and 183 cm was around 3000-3200, but i'm trying to keep it around 2000 to 2300 daily right now.

Just take it slow and easy. No extreme diets or starving yourself.
I still ate shit, had takeaways at least once a week. Just eat less of it overall and eat more healthy food. Healthy food like an apple or a banana fills you up way more than shit like a tiny bit off chocolate which contains the same calories.

Also you don't have to destroy yourself in the gym.if you do that you'll hate it and probably give up. Just walking at a fast pace on a treadmill for a half an hour will burn a good amount of calories.

Also walk places. Don't drive or use public transport unless you have to. I can't believe how lazy some people are when it comes to walking places. It also saves money.

Basically just take it slow and work your way up. Most people just try to starve themselves and then destroy themselves in the gym and it won't last long as they burn themselves out straight away.

The difference i think is that on that diet, you actually get to enjoy foods that are tasty, such as fast food, desserts, pizzas etc while most people going on a diet try to literally avoid all that and suffer because they cant do that forever.

I started 19th of February where i was at 122kg, i had tried in the past the small meals thing but it never worked, the food was bad and not satisfying enough.
So instead i eat a nice big meal like in the past, that is usually meat from 800-1800 calories, if i fuck up it might get to 2200 which is still ok

So one big tasty meal and then cucumbers with salt/vinegar in the evening and i am good for the day, and during weekends i get desserts and i am still losing.

And 1.5 months later, today i am 112.7kg without any suffering.

Or, you can grab yourself one or two grilled chicken breasts by themselves and get a fruit cup to go along with it. I'm starting the sean10mm's stripped 5x5 lifting program this week once my bench and rack get delivered. I have a few questions:

1. How do I determine a "good" starting weight? He doesn't really go into depth on this in the sticky, and I've read it 4 times. I'm a 31 yo 5'11" male, and am not generally a weakling.

I cut my food intake from three decently sized meals a day to just one meal in the afternoon, and went from fat to fit in around six months, and I'm still on that "diet" (mind now I work out, didn't even work out back then).

I just stopped eating most carbs but haven't started exercising yet. My diet consists of 250g of some kind of meat (mostly chicken) and around 500g of veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, cabbage, chayote and occasionally some pumpkin, squash and sweet potatoes) twice a day. I used to eat some fruit in between meals but one day stopped buying them and haven't really missed it, so I won't bother. I don't really do cheat days but I'd say every 2 or 3 weeks I'll have something more fatty, like some pizza with family or a bit of ice cream.

I'm not really trying to seriously do keto or anything, this is just something that has been feeling very easy and surprisingly natural (?) to me. I've been really fucking surprised at how little I crave junk food now and at how I actually enjoy my normal meals. I can even say no to food now, it boggles my mind. I can eat one fucking slice of cake around people and just stop, or even go without it, and it doesn't even feel like much most of the time. I've been fat since I was a fucking baby, so it's totally a new feeling.

I'm scared it's just some weird placebo effect sorta thing and soon I'll start stuffing my face again soon, but so far stepping on the scale and seeing the numbers go down has been enough to not give up. I don't know though, am I just deluding myself? I'm so fucking fat, 11kg seems extremely low for almost three months. I'm kinda scared to join a gym and start overeating again. Ive fluctuated as low as 205 when i starved myself (ran out of money) before i went home for winter break, but ive been around 220 for about 5 years now slowly gaining muscle and losing fat.

What can i do to keep the weight off? i know i can lose it, just a matter of will power and not eating as much.

106kg at 6'3" No muscle packed on just fat. I'm currently weightlifting and eating below maintenance. High protein and low carb with some good fats, just super clean in general.
