There is a great FB group you can join with like 39k members that has a lot of info on minox. It's literally the only thing out there that isn't snake oil, its effectiveness is backed up by peer reviewed studies

Just do multiple steroid cycles. Seriously, it's not a marathon, and after 2 years (maybe 3-4 cycles of test) you'll have a strong beard.

I done one 15 week test cycle and got so many new hairs everywhere. My chest is much better and my beard looks fuller. I'm sure after more cycles it'll be better. Especially with stronger compounds.

Yeah, the main reason I'm doing minoxidil is because is it VERY good at activating dormant hair follicles. You can see a bit of the new growth coming through as vellus hair, however, vellus hair is that peachy fuzzy soft shit that kinda looks worse than clean shaven. When the hair goes terminal it gets corse and thickens up.

Here's where your advice comes in. Running a cycle of test puts A LOT of DHT into the body, which is great for body and facial hair growth. DHT & Testosterone is what makes vellus hair into the thick corse terminal hair. So my thinking is use minox to get as much vellus growth as possible and then I'll start my test cycle this summer to thicken it out. I've already got the entire cycle on hand, I am very prepared I can assure you.

You realize men continue to grow additional hair pretty much throughout their whole life, right? 21 is nothing. If you have no beard at 30 then maybe. I've used it for one year, still not much of a beard but definitely grew more hair, it's odd since both my dad and brother have massive beards, but then again they're much more similar and I'm more on my mom's side of the family, genetics wise. I stopped because I can't be bothered doing it anymore, the dryness is annoying even with moisturizing and the only reason I wanted a beard is so I wouldn't have to shave (lol).

There ARE side effects, it's a drug just like any other, look them up. Most people probably won't have an issue outside of dryness but some do get changes in blood pressure/palpitations and there's even one study showing that topical Minoxidil users had (left?) ventricular hypertrophy after some months. Don't remember the details, google if you want.

Grew a beard for the first time last year, took about 3-4 months.

Started growing facial hair when I was eleven.
