Hey /fit/
So recently I decided to go vegetarian in part to try and live a cleaner lifestyle, but I was warned by a friend that I'll crash and burn because of defficiencies that will build up. I still eat eggs very often and almonds/nuts pretty often as well, but what else should I be eating to make up for the meat I'm missing out on? It's been almost two weeks and its honestly been easy as fuck so far but I don't wanna crash so suggestions would be great.
Also general vegetarian/vegan thread.
pic unrelated
as far as protein: eggs, cheese, whey, milk

Cut the bullshit and just add chicken or lean white meat in general to your diet. Also, fish.

Take a B12 pill every day.
Your friend is ill-informed by the way.
For zinc you can eat pumpkin seeds or poppy seeds. Poppy seeds are GOAT
DHA/EPA should be supplemented.
All other nutrients aren't a concern, especially in a vegetarian who still eats dairy and eggs.

i said, even tho im vegetarian i dont eat eggs directly and i dont drink milk directly.
meaning im nearly vegan, but because i sometimes eat stuff that has a tiny percentage of milk or cheese in it, it makes me a vegetarian.

You didn't.
You literally can't make gains if you exclude meat from your diet , people who says otherwise are reddit beta nu male losers.

Name one nutrient that comes from meat that you can't get from plants. ONE.
