My wife is the same way. I just keep calling her fat. Whenever a fat disgusting woman comes on the TV I say it reminds me of her. I always joke about her getting diabetes. Simple solution. Talk to her and say how you want her to be your fitness partner and plan out days of the week that are gym days. Then that way there is no excuse. You had an agreement to do something together, if she breaks that agreement she must rearange another day to makeup for it.
