Obliques, abductors and all the other stuff around the hips will blow up beyond recognition though, I had to reduce squat frequency to once a week once I hit 3 plates for reps because I could literally watch my lower body growing and it looks retarded

the change probably is minor, but honestly, every bit helps. the difference between op's hips being "wide" and being "normal" is literally just a few millimeters
