Former dyel here. I've read the sticky (just did the rippitoe 3x5 today) but still had a couple questions either I somehow missed in the sticky or weren't answered at all
1) How long should I be following this plan until im considered "intermediate?" I know I'm going to get there in a matter of a couple weeks, but realistically what kind of time frame would be considered normal for that?
2) while not a really important one I'll ask anyway. I need some new headphones and was wondering what /fit/ would recommend. I was using LG tones for the longest time until thhey finally gave up the ghost after 4 years and would like to have something similar if possible.

I'm attaching my first workout from earlier. Feel free to roast/critique it. The 60lbs on dips is on an assisted machine so I'm just tracking it in reverse from everything else.

How are you benching more than you deadlift?
do that until you hit intermediate strength standard of 1/2/3/4
as in:
145lbs OHP
220lbs bench
300lbs squat
350 deadlift

I had back issue a couple months ago so I started with what I felt comfortable with so I wouldn't refuck my back. I figure I'll start light and work up every time just to be safe even though my back is at 100% now

I'm not sure what you mean by 1/2/3/4. Is that referring to sets/reps? Was it in there and I missed it?
>>40857539
1/2/3/4 = 1 plate each side of olympic bar and so on..
the standards are for:
ohp/bench/squat and diddlies in that order

Ah ok. I dun learnt sumthin. Thanks
>>40857504
Those weights are just wrong
1/2/3/4 is
135 OHP
225 Bench
315 Squat
405 Deadlift
Sorry if I ruined some meme

>benching more than you deadlift
Just do yourself and the world a favor by never going back to the gym and killing yourself.

Oh you.jpg
Had you gotten identical sequential digits I may have listened to you
>weighted dips

Maybe read the last paragraph
>>40857495
It happened to me as well, the reason for it was no grip strength after I hit 2plates

>Assisted dips

Ok, that's more acceptable
