>Eating 1000 calories per day (esimated) for a few weeks, all is going good
>Start lifting at the same time, squat goes from 120lbs to 135lbs (including bar), similar progress on other lifts
>Scale doesn't move at all because I'm packing on muscle mass while the fat falls away
>Can't see a difference in the mirror because my self-image is so fucked up
Anyone else know this feel? I know I'm doing everything right, just wanted to vent.

??? stop bitching cunt to even make muscle gains on 1000 calories even for a beginner is god tier. fuck you for bitching about it. if u only care about losing weight just stop fucking lifting and eat the same amount

>Can't see a difference in the mirror because my self-image is so fucked up
that's why you take "before" photos, aho baka
>>40801108
You don't see a difference because you're not losing weight and you're not packing on muscle going to 1pl8 squat from slightly under 1pl8.

I feel exactly like that OP.
>Already lost 26kg
>5kg until I'm at a calculated "ideal weight" so still eating at a deficit
>Never took a before pic because I was too self-conscious about it
>Muscle is now noticeable but the fat still seems like way too much, can't tell if it's real or just my perception.
>>40801108
You're either not eating 1000 calories per day or you're breaking the laws of thermodynamics to somehow put on that much weight that quickly
I'm eating roughly 2500kcals, weight isnt dropping but waist is slimming down
What are you OP, 3'5"?
>>40801303
>or you're breaking the laws of thermodynamics to somehow put on that much weight that quickly
It's probably that, I've always had a really efficient metabolism which is what led me to put on the weight in the first place. Now I'm making it work for *me* and putting on muscle really fast.

Jesus christ, you cannot "pack on muscle" if you're not getting any fucking heavier. You cannot turn fat into muscle because they aren't made of the same chemical compounds.
You're getting slightly stronger because you're clearly new to lifting, your form is improving and your central nervous system is getting better at moving heavy things.
The ignorance on this board sometimes

>Making gains on 1000 cals
Keep dreaming bitch boy
>>40802029
OP here, I haven't been lifting long but long enough to realize that anyone who can't increase their lifts & muscle size while cutting isn't trying hard enough. I'm eating at a 2000 calorie deficit and my bench press has gone from 110 to 135 in just a few weeks. Extrapolate those numbers over a year.

You dont gain muscle nearly as quickly as you lose fat, fatty. Cut harder.
nice thread
