Cardio...can please explain to me what benefits cardio has with weight lifting?
How does it burn fat if you need to make sure you don't eat a caloric deficit anyway to not lose muscle?

congrats you have stumbled upon why people who are serious about lifting like to bulk and then cut
>>40759245
I think what you meant to say was
>redpill me on cardio
>>40759316
I'd prefer to not have fat layers on me at any time during the year.

okay

Heart and lung gains = better endurance for any workout, be it cardio or lifting. Being completely winded after one set of a heavy compound slows down your recovery time between sets. Even if the respective muscle groups might be ready for the next set, if you're still panting and wheazing you'll have to sit there and wait an extra minute or two between sets.

>tfw i have to take like 5 minute breaks between each set because i can barely breathe after the last rep

Think I'm more curious about the fat burning aspect because I hear it can be done but I'm clueless how that would work.

Really?
Energy out > energy in
But instead of intake control, you're controlling the output by burning more calories
Theres multiple fads out there for the best cadio fat burning
>8 minutes of hiit burns a billion calories
>low intensity for 3 hours straight burns fat only
>etc
Probably varying levels of truth to them
I mostly do cardio cause it make me feel so much better and probably trick myself into thinking I look better too.
All anecdotical but;
>better sleep
>less stress
>higher sex drive
>more energy
>look more 'athletic' rather than ugly fridgemode gymrat
>better mood
>post cardio food is the best food youll ever taste
Cardio is good for you, just do it faget
