Depends on where you store fat anon. Sometimes with recovering fatties they have lots of stubborn fat that remains even after weight loss. You end up with a situation where you may be able to see your 12% bf abs and adonis belt, but you have 18% love handles and backfat etc.

DXA scan is about as accurate as anything can be. It's not influenced by things like your state of hydration or someone applying skin calipers wrong. If it says you're 18%, then you're 18%.
