Makes my patellar ligament really inflamed. Some days it's better than other, but I just finished my last set of squats and every rep felt like my knee was about to explode.

i can even feel pain during a bodyweight squat, and can randomly hyper extend my knee and fall awkwardly every 3 months or so
it's gotten better, but ive even lightly dragged my toe over a garden hose while walking and faceplanted, it's a little embarrassing

I have the same condition, it sucks. Recently though it's been fine with no pain or niggles even when squatting but I have also been focusing on my form which may be why.

Some people that have it don't get any symptoms after puberty. For some people it causes very painful tendonitis. It gets pretty serious as the inflamed patellar tendon can press on a nerve and your bottom half goes numb. It can get pretty serious.
