Why is rice so much more popular than pasta in bodybuilding diets?

But I guess one explanation could be that maybe more ppl prefer chicken > ground beef and chicken goes better with rice than pasta?? maybe??

that's how i think atleast and i happen to prefer ground beef so i eat more pasta.

man I've also been wondering why is that
as far as I know rice is just:

>easier to cook and store
>lasts longer
>more nutrient dense and satiating

Yea this. I chicken and pasta is a weird combination to me.

My favorite bulking meal is rice and chicken breasts with gravy and a little bit of that jellied cranberry stuff. Super cheap to make and tastes so good that I can eat a huge portion of it without feeling like I'm forcing it down.

Maybe because they don't sell it roasted so it just doesn't taste as good as russian-store kasha

I once wanted to buy that in a regular store and its unroasted everywhere, tried it out and it just doesn't have the great taste to it

Still really good whole grain food, but if you want it to taste great you gotta get the roasted ones from slav stores
