I need some inspiration for some healthy shit I can add to my oatmeal.
Right now my oatmeal consists of the following:
>1 cup fiber oats (oats with 16g fiber/100g)
>1 egg
>1/2 cup vanilla whey
>1/2 cup chocolate whey
>sweetener
>milk
It's pretty good and I love it but if I could add more healthy shit to it that'd be great.

seeds, nuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, fruit

What seeds and nuts? Also is cinnamon "healthy"?
>>40698465
Yuck. Your breakfast sounds abhorrent. I like oats but yours sounds more like one cup of protein powder with the oats as an afterthought.

Thankfully my enjoyment of my oats aren't dependent on random strangers on the Internet also enjoying it.

>What seeds and nuts?
the ones you like
>Also is cinnamon "healthy"?
Protein: 0.4 g/10g gains for days son
I add pumpkin seeds lately, they are the best seeds for you. Also delicious.

I do.
I add the egg when making it and add the whey after the oats are done. It's bretty gud and the egg adds some creaminess.

Pumpkin seeds? Why are they better than others?
Never knew that mixing an egg in your oatmeal improves the taste and consistency, i'll have to try that later.
Also
>not adding mixed berries for antioxidants, crushed nuts for protein/zinc and dates for dat der potassium
Never gonna make it breh breh.

My overnight oats have developed over the years into better and better taste combo
>5kg Oats
>250g toasted hazelnut nibs
>250g toasted sunflower seeds
>20g cocoa powder or to taste
>200g coconut flakes/powder
>250g flax seeds
>200g toasted sesame seeds
>2 scraped vanilla pods
>as much protein powder as you want
Dried figs and dates also work well for flavour, and walnuts, chia seeds, raisins, sultanas etc
Almost forgot: sea salt, nutmeg and cinnamon in any quantity you want

Do you just mix that shit together and then take some and soak it overnight or what?
>>40698770
Put it all in a big container, shake for 60 seconds then scoop into a bowl with milk every night and leave overnight
Delicious vanilla overnight oats/muesli with tons of your daily nutrition

Storing overnight, does that do so you don't have to cook them?
>>40698906
You asked about overnight oats, you're not cooking them.
>>40698906
>>40698967
Edit: misread the question.
It's similar to the results of cooking, yes
>>40698967
Never done overnight oats which is why I'm asking.
I wouldn't be able to add an egg to overnight oats though.

drizzle on a bit of honey, and sprinkle on some cinnamon if you really wanna take your oatmeal to flavor town
>>40698657
Might do that aswell then. Cooking time boi?
>>40699102
I just put it in at the start and mix it up real good and simply let it cook until the oats are done.
