Alright boys, I'm planning on making sick natty gains. I'm going to max out twice a day 4 days a week just like muh Bulgarians. Gonna get fit or die trying. Heaven or hell. WHATEVER IT TAKES!

Do any of you motherfuckers have experience with 2x a day training? How do you like it?

I have done two a day before. Good luck because you'll be worn the fuck out and probly need to nap between workouts. It literally becomes an all day thing.

I work full time, and get 4 days off. I figured the idea behind the bulgarian system is sound. Take advantage of your body's ability to adapt to stimulus. Of course, I'm not planning to roid so I can't do the real deal and do 3x3hr sessions.

unless you're in bretty gud shape OP increase volume SLOWLY. Two a days can be great for you, but only if you're realistic about it.

other than that, keep a close eye on your form, energy level and eat well. Twelve weeks from now you'll either have great gains or be a broken shell of a man

for the first six weeks it was awesome, but I got cocky and started doing too much. Got sick, missed a week at the gym, said fuggit and deloaded. All my lifts went up, though.

I tried 2x a day training for a bit. Made good gains, but the problem for me was it killed my sleep. For some reason anytime I included a second workout in my day, it ruined my ability to fall asleep and only let me get a couple hours a sleep at night. Then it was essentially a compounding effect, because then I'd be dead tired for both training sessions again the next day, which led to me getting very fried after a few weeks.

I do it sometimes, my plan:

Monday:
3x5 deadlift
3x5 long barbell rowing
3x10 shorts rowing

Wednesday:
3x5 squats
3x5 bench press
3x10 press briefly
3x8 biceps curls

Thursday:
back again

Saturday:
legs, chest and arms again


But I didn't do this every week, sometimes I'm lazy and just do one time back and 2 times legs, chest and arms.
