I hate being weak, /fit/. I hate it. So I have to ask.

What are the reasons a lifter's progress would slow down or stop completely??

Not him, but I've been reading from a few sources you should leave two days for a muscle group to recover. So if you have the same workout routine every gym day, shouldn't you wait two days?

Not ever moving up the weight or reps on accessories because you think progressive overload doesn't apply to them

I lift every other day for specific muscle groups if they need it. Abs and calves get 2 days on 2 days off. I take every other Sunday off without question. Every 3 months I take a full week off.

I've never had an injury, 6 years natty.

Alternate muscle groups so that when you're resting one group of muscles you are working others

You'd have to go through a long session to hit every major muscle. And your energy would be depleted by the time you hit the 2nd or 3rd muscle group unless you werent giving 110% on your first muscles. And if you arent giving 110%, then what da fok are you even doing?

It's not stupid if you do it right, especially if your goal is to not be a weak fuck.
It is stupid if you take full body literally and end up doing 8 exercises every day
