Those are bumper plates. They are made so you can drop the weight easily without damaging anything. Usually they are 5-10lbs (at my gym 2,5-5kg) maybe sometimes a little more.
Thus making this a deadlift of 8x10lbs+2x45lbs=170lbs assuming the outter plates are real plates

I'm duel and just asking, but does it count if you don't do the eccentric? I mean if you see someone squat 3plate x 5 by going up from the safeties and then letting the bar fall off and repeating you'd say that's wrong, it's not a good workout, etc...

Even if someone did a squat from the safeties, and the form was perfect on the way up and everything, it wouldn't count would it?
