Depending on where you live, cow liver can be pretty cheap, although you shouldn't eat too much of it

also eat lots of noodles (like a pound) with just butter on them (half a stick or more, makes em slippy and easy to down)

Chicken thighs, you can get 10 lbs for 10 bucks.

Beans, rice, oats, grits, oil, fish (tilapia is usually pretty cheap)--fish isn't calorie dense but it's nutrent dense and can be cooked in oil for more cals

This. Beef/pork/chicken liver/heart/kidneys/gizzards etc. Offal is dirt cheap, hella nutritious, and very delicious (kidneys taste like piss though lol).

Also obviously fats/oils (butter, olive oil, etc), bread, potatoes, rice, and so on.
