Need to drop 30kg over a 6 month period.
What would be a healthy cal deficit and should I lift or focus mainly on cardio or combination of both

height and weight.
its easy to lose weight when you are obese.
cutting like 10kg at low bodyfat isnt that easy tho

Do intervals, eat less food, if its not fast enough, eat less food but make sure you can finish intervals, don't eat too much below deficit or your workouts will suffer.
>>40604648
What are intervals?
>>40604673
thats spaced fast cardio you repeat with rest, like short fast runs, jumps n stuff.
slow cardio is like walking or jogging for an hour and that is bullshit
>>40604713
Oh ok, and should i incorporate weight lifting or just focus on cardio
>>40604734
cardio is faster, but building muscle has better end result.
Do dnp
>>40604734
If your goal is to just lose weight, then just do intervals.

I dont know what that is but i dont really want to take drugs/ steroids
Your biggest obstacle by far will be keeping your diet in check, especially since at that weight clearly you love your calories. You don't need to move a muscle to lose weight, as long as you eat less. On the other hand, an hour of intense cardio is easily undone by half a bag of chips. By a wide margin, unless you're an elite endurance athlete.
It's still a bit easier to maintain a 750-1000 cal deficit by exercising and eating 2000 a day rather than do nothing and eat 1500, but only a little bit. If you can't lay off the snacks you're fucked.
