What's so hard about deadlifting?
That's not a rhetorical question. I'm sure my form must be complete shit because I can't tell what you could even do wrong other than not keep your back straight.

Hardest part is worrying how to not snap your shit up.
>good-form-girl
I am getting rused.

>keep back straight
>your back
See i will start lifting seriously in a couple of days when i will buy the equipment, but could someone explain to me how is her back straight. She is clearly arching forward.
>>40573029
it's a shit form in general
she's leaning too back, her back is hyperextending, her neck isn't straight, her butt is too low, judging by her heel her feet are way too far from the bar. Overall just a shitty form

in the lumbar spine she is nuetral, arching your thoracic is good, it brings your shoulders closer to the floor and engages your lats, "chest up!"
>>40573060
this + pointy elbow, notberry at all
>>40572962
Poor glute/ham activation. If your knees bend as much as in a squat, you're doing it wrong.
>>40573174
Yeah you should start with your hips above parallel, I know that much. That's all?
>>40572962
>filename is literally good form girl
>form is actually shit
Don't start with your hips that low. The deadlift is not a squat. Pic related is actually good form
>>40572962
>What's so hard about deadlifting?
having the right proportions

Starting position of the hips is dependent on your body proportions, both of them look like they're in a good starting position - bar over midfoot, arms straight down. I have long ass legs and my hips start incredibly high, yet it's still correct form.

I just googled "deadlift girl" and that was the first result, but yeah even I can tell it's bad.
I'm still starting out but I diddly in two motions, coming up and then pushing hips forward. Is this gonna snap my shit up later?
