I had crohns undiagnosed for about 6 months and was essentially starving - went from 90kg to 67kg, it took a couple of months before it started dropping off. I lost strength first, then size.

Admittedly i was working out and trying to eat.

Crohns man here - i was more or less skele until i was about 18, and then i went through the weight loss. I had a DEXA scan before starting steroid treatment and my bones were over 100% normal for age/size/gender.

Dont even know what they are now but im hoping they have some osteoblast promoting therapy in future.
