How many times a week should you train abs?
I've been doing 3 times a week every other day.
The first day, feels fine. The second, feels sore, and I do less. The third day, it feels really sore.....what's wrong?

you can train them 3x a week with 1 rest in between but don't forget to also train your lower back or you will create massive imbalance

Bro my core is weak as fuck. Are you suggesting I stop? Because I've tried not training them, for several years actually, and I am seeing results with the alternative.

back extensions, good mornings, kang squat

Are you fucking joking?
Deadlifts are #1
Reverse Crunches
Using a bench and dangling half way off and lifting your self up

Kettle bell stiff legged dead lifts.
But just don't bend over -- you have to "slide your butt back" to stay safe and keep leverage where it belongs.

I do the same and alternate with cardio in between ab workout days
I dont ever get too sore though, maybe ease up on the intensity since you're hitting them 3 times a week anyway

That's the odd thing, I'm not even doing super intense ab workouts.
I'll do 3 sets of decline sit ups (using a bench) and some abdominal twists. I'll feel fine after, and even the next day, but when I go to work them out again there is a sore feeling to the point where I'm afraid I'll strain something.
My abs must be weak as fuck.
