Really strange case, I was experiencing no pain at all, then yesterday I woke up, ate a protein bar, and my bottom left wisdom toothe gum area hurts like a bitch. Woke up in the middle of the night in pain last night too. I suspect its because the toothe is poking my gums

I got mine removed when I was 12/13.
All at once to get it over with quickly.

I had a huge hamster face for weeks, I was only able to "eat" chicken soup.

Got mine removed at 25 the surgery itself wasn't bad the two weeks following it sucked it felt like I got kicked in the mouth by a horse

I had them out at 16. My face had swollen up immensely and they weren't even visible yet except for one. They had to go in sideways and dig them out. I couldn't open my mouth for a week because my jaw hurt so badly. I lost like 30 pounds. My experience isn't typical, though.

When I was a teen, my dad had dental coverage for the whole family from his work, so my dentist said it would be best to get it done while it was covered.

He just stuck a bunch of needles in my jaw to freeze it then yanked them out. Was super quick, didn't feel a thing. 100x better than having them put you under. Didn't feel any pain at all either when I regained feeling in my jaw.
