how come when i do a squad badly and accidentally end up doing a good morning i get lower back DOMS?

is the good morning not a valid exercise as well? what if i was doing good mornings on purpose? would i have DOMS all the time? aren't they supposed to go away after the second week? so why do i still get lower back DOMS after doing squats badly for a month?
>>
Those aren't DOMS my friend, that's your spine

Your good morning strength should be much weaker than squat strength. By doing good morning on a weight as heavy as your squat PR, ofc you get doms

snibbity snabs :DDDDDDDD
>>

Oh, ok. so these DOMS are no cause for concern then? its safe to fail my 5th rep squat and do a good morning instead? because i do that a lot

This is why I don't want you doing 3x5/5x5 routines. These DOMS are a cause for concern because they are highlighting both a technical failure - dive-bombing and improper bracing - as well as weakness in major muscle groups - quads, abs and lower back.

If you are "doing that a lot" it means it is time to reduce the weight, do some leg press, ab work and good mornings.

i just said im doing a lot of good mornings lololol (by accident) (boy)
>>

You really cant tell the difference between muscle sourness and nerve damage?
>>
>>40558005
It's not an accident - it's your body putting you in a better position to lift the weight.
>>
>>40558010
I wonder about this too desu, squatting or dead lifting working set PRs 3 times a week leaves the lower back pretty fried, how the fuck am I meant to discern nerve damage from muscle soreness if I can only positively identify one of them
>>
>>40558034
you dont, you just stop making up problems in your head where there are none and lift harder.

Do you have a fucked up back? No? Lift Harder bitch
>>
>>40558010
how the fuck am i supposed to know what nerve damage feels like if ive never known that ive had it?

Stop doing lowbar if you can't even do lowbar.

I'll tell you what doesn't happen in a highbar squar. A good morning
