How long did it take you to get to the respectable lifts of 250lb bench press and 150lb OHP? At a 250lb bench and 150lb OHP you're out of dyel mode
>tfw 215 bench and 120lbs OHP

150 OHP, my first year of lifting while I was a below 150 skeltal. 250 bench, not sure, it's been quite a few years since I hit these numbers.
Neither of these lifts are particularly impressive, and won't exactly make you look huge. A nice upper chest/lats/arms and low body fat are needed to look good with those lifts, and you'll just end up like a muscular otter mode.

>I OHP'd 150 lbs when i was a skinny little shit
Your form is either shit, or you're doing them seated
>>40549064
135 Bench 80 OHP. I've been cutting for over 2/3rds of my lifting career.
>>40549120
>skeleton OHP 150lb
Lol no
>>40549136
>80 OHP
u wot m8? I could do more than that my first day. I was at 95 for reps first day in the gym
>>40549135
That isn't even what I was saying. Skeltal meant below 150, which put me at a scary low body fat percentage at my height/muscle. And no, never seated, and always down to the clavicle, and with straight shoulder length legs.
It's also skinny to me because I weigh 60 more pounds than I used to, chilling around 14% bf (probably gonna cut before fall semester to get some primo pussy).
>>40549176
>people have different muscle strengths?!
That's nice, but OHP is the slowest progressing lift, so to whom are you bragging?
>>40549157
>All these ana fags thinking being 140 pounds at 5'11" was normal, or healthy
>>40549120
Obviously you can get to a 150 lb ohp in your first year unless you have shit strength genetics, it shouldn't take any longer than 6 months to ohp 150
>>40549064
250 bench and 150 ohp is not out of dyel mode, sorry kiddo
>>40549235
You'd be at least 175 at that height to be OHP 150lb. 140lbs at 5'11" is literally auschwitz
>>40549237
I think most people have such a weak ohp because it's a lift that is actually hard and people avoid it just like leg days
>>40549235
>overhead pressing more than your bodyweight when you're a toothpick
Delusions m8
>>40549270
Yeah that's true I don't see many people doing ohp at my gym except legit swole guys
I've been told it's the most important lift by the biggest guys in my gym
>>40549255
Lol wat. Maybe your technique is shit, or you just have shitty deltoids, or benched all of the time instead of pressing.
>>40549384
No I do more pressing than benching, benching is for gym bros
>>40549064
I'm at 170 bench for 4 months of lifting. At this rate I'll be at 250 in about 9 months.
