Is it possible to get swole naturally when you're 6'5/195cm or taller without impeccable genetics?

3+ years of hard training and right nutrition or roids. swole is subjective though

short answer is no. the length of your limbs causes sequentially increasing force from the point in which they connect to your body, so no matter how slow your metabolism is or how many calories you eat, you'll never be able to compensate for the calories needed to move your immensely long appendages. that's why giraffes are so thin.

Look at literally any basketball player.

yeah you can get swole
your exercise selection may need to be a little different depending on your relative limb lengths though

That being said...Does anyone notice some kind of hypertrophic effect from doin both a ton of cardio and strength training?

a question for more proportionate lifters is it possible to get power lifter tier strong at 6'0-6'1 or is that realm only achievable by 6'9 giants and 5'6 turbo manlets
>>40541407
Yes, just eat more food. Exercises will be harder for you, so therefore, you will get more time training relative to your strength and have more fat free mass as a result. A guy at 5'5 might have an easier time benching three plates and strict OHPing 185 but as a result he requires a much lower level of muscular development to do it. By the time you are pushing that weight, you will have an FFMI three-five points greater than his. It doesn't matter that a manlet looks big, because you only see it in pictures where there is no sense of perspective. All that matters is measurements, Find a 6'5 guy and a 5'5 guy who've been training for the same amount of time and put them directly next to each other, you'll see it a whole lot differently.

double dubs of truth
when you reach the level of swole a manlet has, you will look like a god among men

this is one of the best posts i've seen on /fit/ in a long time
http://www.strengtheory.com/powerlifters-should-train-more-like-bodybuilders/
you have disadvantaged leverages for everything but pulling, and you have monstrous range of motion on everything
you will need more muscle to move the same weight as a result, and the lifts you do will be more taxing and have a greater training effect
also, general lanky lifter tip, do direct quad work if you have long femurs - you will not be able to get along with only squats (your lower back will fatigue before your quads are trained effectively)

Eddie hall is 6'2-6'3"
Also you should remember that none of the top teir guys are natty.

Whats the max power level I could achieve at say 200lb and 6'0.5 natty with long limbs?
>>40542335
3+ years seems like kind of an exaggeration. could you not get swol in 2?

Somewhere between big af and big guy

You mean muscle wasting / generalized atrophy ?
yes and you need to eat more.
