Guys help
When i squat there are times when I dont feel it in my glutes, mostly in my quads.
And no i dont half rep i go deep down.
Forward lean, usually. Make sure you're pushing through the heels/midfoot, don't let your back go too far forward on the way up.

Nobody going to tell him squats are a quad dominant movement? Deadlifts are way harder on the glutes. Everything that's hip extension dominant is harder on the glutes which is why what >>40541553 said is retarded. The more you lean forward, the more you have to use your glutes to move your torso into a upright through hip extension. Although you should definitely not lean forward deliberately and support the weight on your toes, using a low bar position will force your body to lean forward more and remove more focus from the quads.
When it comes to glutes it's like this
High bar>Low bar>Deadlift

>High Bar>Low Bar>Deadlift
shouldn't it be the other way around
