Spend a year abroad, did awesome despite being a lanklet. Met another American there who was a total shut in, didn't try to experience the culture, tried to hang onto English as much as possible, tried to fall back on English when possible, I think he graduated college a virgin. If you're abroad, you'll be seen as exotic. Since you know your stay there is temporary, you have more confidence since you subconsciously know you'll never see these people again. Also if you're white and in east asia, they'll be all over your dick, just don't expect long term relationships
